Boat Handling Instruction

 

Captain Mike offers a 4-hour training on your boat. This is on-the-water instruction to help you feel confident and secure in all conditions. Below are the categories from which you choose your personalized training:

 

 

 

• Anchoring – learn to calculate proper scope and retrieval.
• Docking – close quarters maneuvering, line handling, wind and current review and practice.
• Open Running – in your waters, a review of navigational aids, obstructions, hazards and your boat’s characteristics at speed.
• Safety and Emergency Procedures – learn how to be prepared for an onboard emergency.
• First Mate Training – line handling, fender positioning and communication with the Skipper.
